Our bubble tents and the restaurant

camp and restaurant

That awaits you
Our new eco-friendly small luxury camp is located in the protected area of Wadi Rum, bordered by rugged mountains and the stunning Arabian desert. It is far from the city noise and crowds.

You are invited to experience a unique way, to fully surrender to this private atmosphere and to listen attentively to the sound of freedom that calls you. From the terrace of the tent, the direct view of the starry sky and the Milky Way is incredible.

Or you can enjoy the peace and quiet on the dune that belongs to our camp. While the moon casts a spell over you in the dark, an enchanting sunrise wakes you up in the morning. All you have to do is step out onto your terrace and enjoy it all.

Overnight
Our new tents have been set up to allow you to make the most of the exceptional views of the Rum Desert from every angle, including the bed and seating area. The front of the tents is equipped with large glass panes.

The restaurant

To make your stay even more enjoyable, you are welcome to try our prepared traditional dishes, served with love and wonderful hospitality.

Our restaurant is authentically furnished in Bedouin style. A beautiful fireplace completes the cosiness.

Important information

I advise bringing sunscreen. Furthermore, a scarf, which serves as a headgear, should be included. A hat is inconvenient due to the headwind while driving the jeep. A small backpack for the day is also useful. A flashlight or headlamp as well as toilet paper and small plastic bags for disposing of your rubbish are very useful for the night-time “toilet visit”.

Clothing: comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty. Good hiking shoes or trekking sandals with socks and a fleece or large, warm sweater for the night.

As for the sanitary facilities, there are neither showers nor toilets in the desert, but since the desert is huge, you can always find a quiet corner.

In general, it is important to always have a small plastic bag with you for rubbish. There will also be a trash can in the car.

Yes, thanks to the bivouac sites I have chosen (protected by the rock), the wood fire and our large blankets, the camp temperature is always comfortable and we sleep outside all year round.

Important: I cannot wash our mattresses and blankets between every visitor. If you are sensitive and would like to sleep on a very clean sheet, please bring your own duvets and sheets.

I work exclusively in hiking bivouacs. In fact, I am against any idea of fixed camps. These unfortunately too many and mostly illegal permanent installations destroy the landscape.

At the end of the day, I choose a spot sheltered by a rock and set up camp. We spend the evening, have dinner and sleep under the beautiful starry sky, warmed by the wood fire. Falling asleep looking at the Milky Way is an unforgettable experience. That’s why I prefer the nights under the stars.
